Israel - Italy 68:88

Italy outscored Israel in Group B of the EuroBasket 2023. They improved to a 1-1 record after an 88-68 win. Italy nailed 30 points in the opening period and dominated the whole game. They won the second quarter 17-13 to get a 16-point advantage at the halftime. Italy looked better in the third quarter with a 20-14 run and then closed the game with a final 23-21 rally.
Cecilia Zandalasini (189-F-1996) was unstoppable with 33 points and Laura Spreafico (183-F/G-1991, agency: LBM Management) delivered 16. Andre Olbis (192-C-1998) scored 10, whilst Mariella Santucci (170-G-1997, college: Toledo) produced 9. Yarden Garzon (190-G-2003) and Alexandra Cohen (196-F/C-1993, college: Northwestern) delivered 15 points each in the losing effort
