Czech Republic - Greece 79:76

Czech Republic overcame Greece 79-76 on the way to the Quarterfinal at the EuroBasket 2023. Both teams nailed 22 points each in the first quarter as the battle continued later throughout the whole game. The teams exchanged 20-19 runs in the second and the third quarters as Artemis Spanou (187-F-1993, college: RMU) closed the period at 61-61. In the last stanza Czech Republic managed to produce an 18-15 run to seal the win. Petra Holesinska (178-G-1997, college: UNC) nailed two free throws at the very end for the final success. She top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Veronika Sipova (181-SF-1999) notched 15. Natalie Stoupalova (185-PF-1998) followed them with 10 points in a win. Maria Fasoula (196-F-1997, college: Vanderbilt) replied with 26 points in defeat and Artemis Spanou produced 22.
