2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers: Lithuania nip Poland in Vilnius

Lithuania registered the fourth win at the 2025 EuroBasket Qualifiers. They held off visiting Poland in Vilnius tonight to improve at 4-1 record atop of Group C. Laura Juskaite (187-F-1997) provided 17 points to lead the winners.
Poland jumped to a 22-18 lead after ten minutes. But the hosts bounced back with a 22-13 rally in the second period to gain a 40-35 halftime lead. Lithuania maintained the lead throughout the second half. Agnieszka Skobel (180-SG-1989) pulled the visitors within one 69-70 with under two minutes remaining. But Juste Jocyte (186-SF-2005) sank two free throws and Lithuania held on to win the game at the end. Juste Jocyte provided 14 points for Lithuania. Agnieszka Skobel tossed in 18 points, while Stephanie Mavunga (191-C-1995, college: Ohio St., agency: LBM Management) had 17 points in the loss.
