The teams remained evenly matched through the third period, with Belgium holding a narrow 53–47 advantage. But Lithuania came alive in the fourth quarter, delivering a powerful 26-point surge while tightening defensively to outscore Belgium 26–16. The late push allowed Lithuania to overturn the deficit and claim a hard-fought victory in front of their home crowd.
