Lauryn Vieira claims French LF2 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Lauryn Vieira (160-PG-2001, agency: Areus Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Pays Voironnais Basket Club and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents LF2 Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 25-year old playmaker had the game-high 15 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for PVBC in her team's victory, helping them to crush Hainaut (#11, 1-5) with 24-point margin 73-49. PVBC maintains the 4th position in French LF2. They are still close to the very top. PVBC would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Vieira as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Eckerd College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vieira is league's best passer with 8.3apg. Vieira is in league's top in and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Anya Poole (188-F-2002) of Champagne Basket Femenin Reims. Poole impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 14 points and 18 rebounds. Of course Reims cruised to a 71-63 relatively comfortable win over Geispolsheim (3-3). This victory allowed Reims to move up to 6th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Poole is well-known by Reims fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another PVBC's star - Daniela Dibanzilua (172-SG-2004, agency: Dagger Basket). Dibanzilua scored 21 points. She was another key player of Pays Voironnais Basket Club, helping her team with a 73-49 easy win against the lower-ranked Hainaut (#11, 1-5). PVBC is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Dibanzilua has a great season in France. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.8ppg (best scorer). She also has 2.8spg, a FGP of 52.2% and 3PT: 50.0%.
