Peytour's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old swingman Samantha Peytour (177-F/G-2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for Lyon ASVEL Feminin and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds, while her team crushed Landerneau (#8, 3-4) with 16-point margin 58-42. Lyon is placed at 6th position in French LFB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lyon will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Peytour as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Samantha Peytour averages this season 9.1ppg and 6.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Merveille Lokoka (187-PF-2004, agency: BIG) of Basket Club La Tronche Meylan. She is a forward in her first season at La Tronche. In the last game Lokoka recorded an impressive 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as La Tronche was edged by the higher-ranked Charnay (#5, 4-3) 87-84. La Tronche is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory La Tronche managed to get this year. Lokoka is a newcomer at La Tronche and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Binta Drame-Lo (171-PG-2002) of Charnay Basket Bourgogne SUD (#5). Drame-Lo scored 21 points. She was a key player of Charnay, leading her team to a 87-84 win against the lower-ranked La Tronche (#11, 1-6). Charnay needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Drame-Lo has a very solid season. In 7 games in France she scored 11.0ppg. She also has 3.4apg and 2.3spg.
