    Herner celebrate DBBL title - May 6, 2019


    Herner clinched DBBL title. They topped Keltern 80:60 in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. Jordan Frericks (185-F-94, college: Missouri, agency: LBM Management) posted 18 points and 11 rebounds to pace the champions.
    Herner got to a 23:10 lead at the first break. The hosts maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. Herner accumulated a 42:27 halftime lead. Herner unloaded 23 points in the third term and cleared off for good. Beatrice Attura (170-G-94, college: Northwestern St., agency: LBM Management) produced 13 points for the champions. Ezinne Kalu (173-G-92, college: SSU) answered with 20 points for Keltern.

    Herner TC clinched Cup DBBL 2018/19 title beating GiroLive-Panthers Osnabruc in the Final game. Beatrice Attura (170-G-94, college: Northwestern St., agency: LBM Management) stepped up with 18 points and Emina Karic (178-F/G-91) as well as Frericks posted 11 each. Karin Kuijt (170-PG-90) and Westerik followed them with 9 points apiece in a win. Brianna Rollerson (185-F/C-94, college: Creighton) replied with 15 points in a loss, whilst Emma Eichmeyer (180-F-00) and Kata Takacs (185-F-91) had 11 each.
    In the game for the 3rd place BC Pharmaserv Marburg edged Eisvogel USC Freiburg 108-92.
