Kiyara Letlow claims German 2.Bundesliga Hoops Agents weekly honour

Canadian Kiyara Letlow (185-F-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best BasCats USC Heidelberg and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents 2.Bundesliga Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 25-year old forward had the game-high 33 points adding nine rebounds for Heidelberg in her team's victory, helping them to crush Freiburg 2 (2-1) with 19-point margin 83-64. Heidelberg is placed at 2nd position in German 2.Bundesliga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Heidelberg will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Letlow had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. She turned to be Heidelberg's top player in her first season with the team. Letlow has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.0ppg. Letlow is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 11.3rpg) and averages solid 68.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Canadian center Abigail Becker (193-C-2002) of UBC Muenster. Becker impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Muenster was edged by Oberhausen (2-1) 74-70. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Becker is a newcomer at Muenster and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Paula Sussmann (184-C-2002) of Rhein-Main Baskets (#12). Sussmann scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Sussmann's great performance the Rhein-Main lost 65-89 to Jahn Muenchen (#5, 2-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Sussmann has a very solid season. In 3 games in Germany she scored 14.7ppg.
