Croatian Forward Ana Mandic (184-F-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Rutronik Stars Keltern, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds, while her team edged out Osnabrueck (#6, 1-2) 64-60. It allowed Stars to consolidate first place in the German DBBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Keltern already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. It's Mandic's second year at Stars and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Ana Mandic has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (4th best: 18.7ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 11.0rpg) and averages impressive 65.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Eboni Walker (183-F-2001) of Eisvogel USC Freiburg. Walker had a very good evening with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Of course she led Freiburg to another comfortable win 75-62 over Noerdlingen (1-2) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Walker is a newcomer at Freiburg, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.3ppg (#8). She also registered 9.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Freiburg's star - American guard Abby Prohaska (175-G-2000). Prohaska showcased her all-around game by recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Eisvogel USC Freiburg, helping her team with a 75-62 easy win against Noerdlingen (#8, 1-2). Freiburg needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Prohaska has a great season in Germany. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (2nd best) and assists with 3.3apg (7th best).
