The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Coburg (11-5) in Frankfurt on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by twelfth ranked Skyliners II (6-10) 74-70. Frankfurt Jrs made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. American guard Desmond Watson (196-2003, college: Loyola, IL) stepped up and scored 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Florian Dietrich (203-2000) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American Darius Dawson (198-2001, college: Austin Peay) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Coburg's coach Patrick Seidel rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Skyliners II have a solid series of three victories in a row. Frankfurt Jrs moved-up to eleventh place. Coburg at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. ETB Miners rolled over Rhoendorf on the road 107-78. Bernau defeated Itzehoe on its own court 87-81. Rostock Acad. beat Rist Wedel in a road game 84-78. Westerstede destroyed Schwelm at home 100-79. Vechta 2 unfortunately lost to Neustadt TSV on the opponent's court 87-91. Langen managed to beat Dresden in a home game 90-88. FC Bayern 2 crushed Wuerzburg Ak. on the road 89-70. CATL Loewen was smashed by Fellbach on its own court 66-88.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 16 points and 6 rebounds by Brian Butler of Fellbach.



BSW Sixers - Iserlohn 60-59

Rather expected game in Sandersdorf where 12th ranked Kangaroos (6-11) were edged by ninth ranked Sixers (8-9) 60-59 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BSW Sixers made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward RJ Holmes (201-2002, college: CMU) who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Nigerian center Emanuel Ozike (204-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. American-Cape Verdean forward Tyson Leitao (199-2002, college: Tampa) produced 11 points and 9 rebounds and Christopher Schultz (194-2003) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
