There was an upset when higher rankedRist Wedel (7-9) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Seawolves Academy (8-9) 84-78 on Saturday. Strangely Rist Wedel outrebounded Rostock Acad. 40-28 including a 18-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Jalen Page (193-2002, college: Trevecca) who scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Jonas Zilinskas (204-2006) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Seawolves Academy players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Lincoln Rosebush (208-1999, agency: BIG) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Nelson Martin (189-2006) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock Acad. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with BSW Sixers. Loser Rist Wedel dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with Langen.
