Olympiacos clinched GBL title. They defeated Panathinaikos in the fourth game of the championship series tonight to lift the trophy. Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. American-Azerbaijani Shaquielle McKissic (196-1990, college: Arizona St.) fired 20 points for the winners. French swingman Evan Fournier (198-1992) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Olympiacos players scored in double figures. American Kendrick Nunn (194-1995, college: Oakland) produced 18 points and the former international point guard Kostas Sloukas (190-1990) added 11 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. His exceptional performance on the court helped Olympiacos achieve the best record of the season, finishing 20-2 in the regular season. Vezenkov's skills were instrumental in defeating Panathinaikos in the final series. He showcased remarkable court vision, ranking second in points per game and averaging over 18 points and 6 rebounds per game. Vezenkov had numerous high-scoring games, including 33 games with 20 or more points and double-doubles in 7 games. His 45-point game against Bayern was a standout performance in the season. Jordan Walker, the American point guard from ASP Promitheas Patras, was named Import Player of the Year at the Stoiximan Basketball League.
