Bilbao celebrated FIBA Europe Cup title. They did so despite a narrow road loss in Thessaloniki tonight as they claimed victory on aggregate. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 45-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. PAOK made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Bilbao helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Shavar Reynolds Jr (188-1998, college: Monmouth, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import guard Frank Bartley IV (191-1994, college: Louisiana) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Bartley IV is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four PAOK players scored in double figures.
