Panathinaikos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international forward Ioannis Papapetrou (203-94, college: Texas) who scored that evening 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Konstantinos Mitoglou (210-96, college: Wake Forest, agency: Wasserman) supported him with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Even 17 points by Guinean-American guard Alpha Diallo (201-97, college: Providence) did not help to save the game for Lavrio. Petros Geromichalos (203-94) added 12 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four Lavrio players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
