Olympiacos claimed Stoiximan Basket League title. They swept Panathinaikos to win the 13th Greek title in team's history. Aleksandar Vezenkov (206-PF-1995) posted 25 points to pace the Reds. Olympiacos sank 28 points in the first period to eke out a 2-point lead. The hosts started to get away in the second period. Olympiacos established a 55-40 halftime advantage. Panathinaikos limited their opponents to just 8 points in the third term to pull within 10 points. But Olympiacos responded with a 30-point fourth-quarter effort to seal the victory and triumph in the League. Kostas Sloukas (190-PG-1990) hauled in 14 points for the champions. Olympiacos conquered 2022 Greek Cup trophy. They overcame their archrivals Panathinaikos in the Final tonight. It marked the first Cup success for the Reds since 2011. Tyler Dorsey (196-SG-1996, college: Oregon) provided 21 points for the winners and was named the MVP. Olympiacos grabbed a 21-17 lead after ten minutes. Panathinaikos denied the deficit in the second term. They spurred ahead to take a 45-39 halftime advantage. Panathinaikos maintained the lead throughout the third term. The Greens entered the fourth frame up by 9 points 67-58. But Olympiacos turned things around with a 15-0 run in the fourth period. They secured a 73-67 lead and marched to the victory at the end. Panathinaikos clinched SuperCup title 2021 beating Promitheas Patras 92:83. Panathinaikos established its hold after Promitheas took an early lead. Panathinaikos won the first period 26-23 and added a 27-16 rally in the second frame.The Patras side approached 84-79 with three minutes to play but could not seal the win.
