The Regular Season in A Division just started. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Alba smashed Kormend in Szekesfehervar 96-77. Alba dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kormend's 32 and made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Kormend 42-20 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Kormend helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin forward Bojan Subotic (203-1990) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Joshua Scott (185-1998, college: Thomas Univ.) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Nigerian point guard Uchenna Iroegbu (188-1996, college: Stony Brook, agency: Olsta) answered with 16 points and 4 assists for Kormend. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kormend will play next round against strong Atomeromu trying to get back on the winning streak. Alba will try to continue on its current victory against Sopron KC at home.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of NKA Pecs in Paks. Visitors were rolled over by Atomeromu 102-77. The former international swingman Szilard Benke (197, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) stepped up and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Clarence Daniels chipped in 20 points. At the losing side American guard Kieffer Punter (193-1999, college: Troy) responded with 20 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu will play against Kormend on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. NKA Pecs will play against Szolnok and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Honved which hosted in Budapest Duna Aszfalt. Honved had an easy win 83-65. Vincent Valerio-Bodon nailed 24 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Pavle Djurisic came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds for Duna Aszfalt in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Honved will meet DEAC in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Duna Aszfalt will play against Kaposvari and hope to win that game.

Other games in round 1 were not that significant. Szedeak lost to Kaposvari on the road 98-99. Sopron KC won against DEAC on its own court 100-82. OSE Lions lost to Szolnok in a road game 93-104. Szombathely rolled over Phoenix-MT at home 94-75.
The most impressive performance of 1st round was 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by Zoltan Perl of Szombathely.
