Hungarian A Division round 6 best performance: Caitlin Bickle

American Forward Caitlin Bickle (185-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for VBV CEKK Cegled, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 26-year old player tried to help (35 points, six rebounds and seven assists) her team in a lost game to Szekszard (#5, 3-2) 85-105. Cegledi moved-up to the 6th position in Hungarian A Division. Cegledi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 3rd lost game this season out of 6 games. In the team's last game Bickle had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It's her second year at Cegledi and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Former Baylor University star has very solid stats this year. Bickle is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.2ppg. Bickle is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.0rpg) and assists (6th best: 4.5apg).

The second best player in last round's games was young international point guard Agnes Studer (169-PG-1998) of NKA Universitas PEAC Pecs. Studer had a very good evening with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led PEAC-Pecs to another comfortable win outscoring BKG Prima (#11, 0-6) 89-69. This victory allowed PEAC-Pecs to move up to 7th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Studer is one of the most experienced players at PEAC-Pecs and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Reka Dombai (179-SG-2002) of Tarr KSC Szekszard (#5). Dombai scored 29 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was a key player of Szekszard, leading her team to a 105-85 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Cegledi (#6, 3-3). Szekszard needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Dombai has a very solid season. In 5 games in Hungary she scored 14.0ppg.
