After 3 rounds played we can already see who rules in the Division I and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of KV Reykjavik (2-1) in Reykjaik on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by Thor Thorl (3-0) 140-84. The game without a history. Thor Thorl led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to KV Reykjavik's 50 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Thor Thorl forced 19 KV Reykjavik turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. Thor Thorl looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for forward Sigvaldi Eggertsson (201-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Joey Holifield (192-2000, college: Lourdes) helped adding 20 points and 9 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was forward Sturla Bodvarsson (200-2008) with 13 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Thor Thorl is looking forward to face Akranes IA at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KV Reykjavik will play against Hamar and is hoping to win this game.
Akranes IA (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Snaefell (0-3) 113-81. It was a quality performance for Croatian-Bosnian forward Gojko Sudzum (203-1994, agency: Bell Basketball) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Solvi Olason accounted for 21 points and 9 assists. Akranes IA's coach Hjalti Vilhjalmsson felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. French forward Keylane Lasisi (198-2003, college: Huntington, agency: Dagger Basket) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for Snaefell in the defeat. Akranes IA will play against Thor Thorl (#3) in Thorlakshofn in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Snaefell will play at home against Selfoss (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Reykjavik supposed to be also quite interesting. Haukar (3-0) played at the court of Fjolnir (1-2). Haukar smashed Fjolnir 111-83 on Friday.
