Icelandic Division I round 3 best performance: Josh Hardiman (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Josh Hardiman (198-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Hamar, receiving a Hoops Agents Division I Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 41 points and 14 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to KFG (#5, 2-1) 89-99. Hamar moved-up to the 9th position in Icelandic Division I. Hamar is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 3 games. In the team's last game Hardiman had a remarkable 65.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hamar's top player in his first season with the team. Former Hope International University star has very solid stats this year. Hardiman is in league's top in points (4th best: 27.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 11.7rpg) and averages impressive 69.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Adrian McIntyre (190-G) of Breidablik Kopavogur. McIntyre had a very good evening with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Breidablik to another comfortable win 104-88 over Thor AK (0-3) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. McIntyre is a newcomer at Breidablik, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.5ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 8.5rpg and 8.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Avery Sullivan (203-F/C-1999, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) of Selfoss karfa (#8). Sullivan showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 8 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Selfoss, leading his team to a 86-69 easy win against Skallagrimur (#10, 0-3). The chances of Selfoss not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victory. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sullivan could try to bring Selfoss' a little bit higher in the standings. Sullivan has individually a great season in Iceland. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (6th best) and assists with 6.5apg (9th best).
