Phard Napoli wins its first title in its 20 years story beating Faenza 3-1 in the final series of italian championship. Napoli arrived at the final appointment in better shape and with a complete roster while Faenza suffered the knee injury of captain Simona Ballardini and dsome other players very fatigued for a very long season. Infact Faenza had its best season this year winning Coppa Italia, dominating the regular season and losing FIBA Cup and Italian championship only in the finals.
Napoli this season showed a roster of very experienced and motivaded players and its main strenght was the team unity. MVP of the final series was named the French  Nicole Antibe who also won FIBA Cup with Naples two years ago, but we must mention also Kedra Holland-Corn who won in the same season WNBA and A1 titles.
