This is still too early stage of the Regular Season in Serie A2 and we should expect many changes in upcoming rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Forli (2-1) on the court of Avellino on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Avellino 94-81. Avellino looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Forli's players. It was a good game for American point guard Blake Francis (183-1998, college: Richmond) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 assists. His fellow American import forward Tariq Owens (208-1995, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international forward Fabio Mian (196-1992) answered with 26 points for Forli. Forli's coach Francesco Nanni rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Avellino is looking forward to face Cividale (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Forli will play against Rieti (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
