Italian Serie A2 round 4 best performance: Tevin Mack

American Forward Tevin Mack (200-F, agency: Octagon Europe) had a great game in the last round for Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro, receiving a Hoops Agents Serie A2 Player of the Week award for round 4.
The player was the main contributor (31 points, five rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Puglia (#17, 1-3) 86-76. Pesaro maintains the 4th position in Italian Serie A2. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Pesaro already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Mack had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Pesaro's top player in his first season with the team. Former Clemson University star has very solid stats this year. Mack is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.0ppg) and averages impressive 56.8% FGP and 52.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Caleb Walker (193-G-1989) of Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia. Walker had a very good evening with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Pistoia to another comfortable win 89-70 over Vigevano (#20, 0-4) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Pistoia managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 16th place. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Pistoia managed to get this year. Walker is a newcomer at Pistoia, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Domenico D'Argenzio (176-PG-2001, agency: SLN) of Paperdi Caserta (#12). D'Argenzio scored 24 points and passed 5 assists. He was a key player of Caserta Pap., leading his team to a 96-89 win against Cremona (#18, 0-4). Caserta Pap. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league.
