Wiltjer's 32-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

34-year old Canadian power forward Kyle Wiltjer (207-F/C-1992) had a great game in the last round for Umana Reyer Venezia and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 32 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Venezia in his team's victory, helping them to beat Roma Basket (#11, 1-3) 104-98. Umana Venezia is placed at 4th position in Italian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Venezia will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Wiltjer had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Umana Venezia, through which he has constantly improved. Gonzaga University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wiltjer is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.3ppg) and averages solid 64.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Lajae Jones (201-G-2004) of Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste. He is American guard in his first season at Trieste. In the last game Jones recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Trieste to another comfortable win outscoring Cantu (#15, 0-4) 92-72. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Trieste managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 13th place. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Trieste managed to get this year. Jones is a newcomer at Trieste and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Mike Tobey (213-C-1994) of Tezenis Scaligera Verona (#3). Tobey scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Verona, leading his team to a 94-81 easy win against the lower-ranked Reggio Emilia (#12, 1-3). Tobey has a great season in Italy. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (#1 in league).
