Miniotas' double-double lands him Serie A2 Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old Lithuanian power forward Regimantas Miniotas (206-PF-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro and receives a Hoops Agents Serie A2 Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 20 rebounds, while his team beat Caserta Pap. (#16, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 83-77. Pesaro is placed at 5th position in Italian Serie A2. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Pesaro already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Miniotas had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Pesaro and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Miniotas has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 21.0ppg) and averages solid 62.1% FGP and 80.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Stacy Davis (198-F-1994) of Tramec Cento. He is American forward in his 3rd season at Cento. Third place about best performers goes to guard Marquis Barnett (194-G-2003) of Gema Montecatini (#15). Barnett got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds . Despite Barnett's great performance the Montecatini lost 78-96 to Brindisi (#2, 3-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Barnett has individually a great season in Italy. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 9.0rpg (5th best).
