Palermo lands Rosa Cupido

- June 12, 2018

POSTED BY: Eurobasket News

AndrosBasket Palermo (Serie A2) tabbed 26-year old point guard Rosa Cupido (168-92). She played most recently at Meccanica Nova Vigarano in the Serie A1. In 19 games she averaged 3.0ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.4spg last season. Serie A2 will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time.
The previous (16-17) season Cupido played at PFF Group Ferrara where in 31 Serie A2 games she had 9.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.5apg and 3.0spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. She can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Italian A2 3rd Team.
Cupido has played previously for two other teams: Napoli and Irpino.
