Sara Roumy

Sara Roumy

Faenza Basket Project (Serie A1) signed 20-year-old French shooting guard Sara Roumy (180cm-2003) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Keltern in the German DBBL. In 6 Eurocup games, she had 13.5ppg, 1.3rpg, and 2.3apg. She played in the final of the German DBBL in 2024.
For two previous seasons (2021-23) she played at Landes in the French league. She also played 17 games in the French LFB where she recorded just 2.3ppg in the 2022-23 year. She helped them to make it to the Supercup final.
Roumy represented France at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship in Lithuania last year. Roumy's team won Gold and she averaged nearly 12 ppg.
She has played previously professionally in France (Centre Federal BB Paris).
Despite her young age, she had an impressive career. Roumy was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U20 Women's European Championship Honorable Mention in 2023. She played in the final of the German DBBL in 2024.
