Alessandra Tava

Pallacanestro Sanga Milano (Serie A2) added 33-year-old ex-international forward Alessandra Tava (183cm-1991, agency: SLN) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. She played last season at A.S. Velcofin InterLock Vicenza and recorded 10.5ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.3apg in 26 Serie A2 games in Italy. Prior to that, she played for Allianz Geas Sesto San Giovanni for two seasons (2022-24).
She was also a member of the Italian international program for some years. Tava played for Italian Senior National Team back in 2011 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2009.
She represented Italy at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Serbia 14 years ago. During this event, she scored an average of 12.6 ppg and had 4 rpg.
Tava has played in Sweden (A3 Basket), Italy (La Spezia, Viterbo, Bologna, Orvieto), and Sweden during his career.
Her team reached the Serie A1 Semifinals in 2023.
