Simone Aromando

Dinamo BDS Sassari (Serie A) signed 28-year-old forward Simone Aromando (200cm-96kg-1997) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He will remain in Italy, where he played last season at Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro in Italian Serie A2. In 6 games, he averaged 10.2ppg and 2.8rpg. Aromando also played for another Italian team, Gemini Mestre, earlier that season.
Aromando has played for six other teams previously: Vicenza, Vigevano, Chieti, Faenza, Brianza Casa, and Teramo.
He played in the final of Italian Serie B Nazionale Table2 in 2025, among many awards. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie B Honorable Mention back in 2022.
