KBF Bashkimi Prizren (Superliga) signed 26-year-old American 175cm guard Caterrion Thompson (college: MSU) for the upcoming season. She was the top scorer at Oaklands Wolves in the British WBBL last season, where in 19 games she was the league's third-best scorer with an impressive 18.4ppg and had 6.4rpg, 2.3apg, and 1.4spg. It was a great season for her, as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-British WBBL Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times). The previous (2022-23) season, she played at Forssan Alku in the Finnish league.
She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2022 and it'll be her third season in pro basketball. Thompson played also for Bowling Green State University for 3 years. |
