Lithuanian NKL round 5 best performance: CJ Hall

American Guard CJ Hall (188-G-2002) had a very impressive game in the last round for BC Alytus, receiving a Hoops Agents NKL Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (43 points, six rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Vytis (#8, 2-1) 110-105. Alytus is placed at 10th position in Lithuanian NKL. Alytus is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Hall had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Alytus' top player in his first season with the team. Former Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville star has very solid stats this year. Hall is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.0ppg. Hall is in league's top in and averages impressive 52.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Arunas Rimkus (194-G-2004, agency: BIG) of Sakiu Vytis. Rimkus had a very good evening with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Vytis lost that game 105-110 to slightly lower-ranked Alytus (#10, 2-3). This loss caused Vytis to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Rimkus is a newcomer at Vytis, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was center Augustinas Mikstas (203-C-2001) of BC Silute (#6). Mikstas scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Silute, leading his team to a 97-81 easy win against the lower-ranked Vilkaviskis (#9, 2-2). Silute needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Mikstas has a great season in Lithuania. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.2rpg (4th best).
