Rytas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Juventus helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was swingman Lukas Uleckas (199-1999) who scored 21 points and 5 assists. International Gytis Radzevicius (197-1995) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Scoochie Smith (191-1994, college: Dayton) who recorded 21 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rytas (18-2) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Juventus lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Juventus will play next round against P.Zvaigzdes trying to get back on the winning streak. Rytas will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Zalgiris in Kaunas.
Important game to mention about took place in Panevezys. Seventh ranked Neptunas (9-12) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Lietkabelis (11-7) 78-76 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lietkabelis. It was a good game for the former international forward Azuolas Tubelis (211-2002, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 21 points. Ignas Sargiunas contributed with 10 points and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Gediminas Orelik (200-1990) answered with 29 points and 5 assists for Lietkabelis. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Neptunas maintains seventh place with 9-12 record. Lietkabelis at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Neptunas will play against Siauliai (#9) at home in the next round. Lietkabelis will play against Jonava (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 21 Jonava was defeated by Siauliai in a road game 89-86. P.Zvaigzdes was beaten by Nevezis at home 91-101.
