LKL Round 3 of Semi-Finals. Zalgiris are the first finalists

Zalgiris - Lietkabelis 103-93

Zalgiris made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was international power forward Azuolas Tubelis (211-2002, college: Arizona) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. American center Moses Wright (207-1998, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Estonian point guard Kristian Kullamaee (193-1999) who recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Paulius Danusevicius (205-2001) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Zalgiris and five Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Neptunas - Juventus 102-84

Neptunas outrebounded Juventus 34-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. Neptunas shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. It was a good game for the former international point guard Arnas Velicka (195-1999) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 6 assists. The former international Donatas Tarolis (205-1994) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American forward Maxwell Lewis (201-2002, college: Pepperdine) answered with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and swingman Lukas Uleckas (199-1999) added 12 points in the effort for Juventus. Four Neptunas and five Juventus players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
