Yarborough's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

22-year old American center Delaney Yarborough (190-C-2004) had an amazing evening in the last round for ZKK Sea Stars and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
She had a double-double of 16 points and 19 rebounds, while her team beat Trebjesa (#7, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 72-58. Sea Stars is placed at 3rd position in Montenegrin Prva A. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Sea Stars won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Yarborough turned to be Sea Stars' top player in her first season with the team. University of Maryland - Baltimore County graduate has very impressive stats this year. Yarborough is in league's top in points (5th best: 16.0ppg) and averages solid 3.0bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Tatum Forbes (170-G-2003). She is American guard in her first season at Sea Stars. In the last game Forbes recorded an impressive 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course together with Yarborough she helped ZKK Sea Stars with another comfortable win 72-58 over Trebjesa (0-1) being unquestionably team leader. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Forbes is a newcomer at Sea Stars and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#3). Her other stats are also decent: 8.0rpg and 8.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Anja Adzic (176-PG-2009) of league's second-best ZKK Primorje Herceg Novi. Adzic scored 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She was a key player of Primorje, leading her team to a 73-54 easy win against Lovcen (#5, 0-0). Primorje has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Adzic also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Adzic as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.
