Kangoeroes add Kovacevic to the roster

Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen (Top Division Women) have added 27-year-old Montenegrin international power forward Bojana Kovacevic (191cm-1996, agency: BIG) to their roster. Kovacevic began the season with Fujian in the Chinese WCBA, where she played 26 games and averaged 11.3ppg, 8.2rpg, 2.0apg, and 1.5spg. Last season, she played for Cadi La Seu in the Spanish league, appearing in 29 games and averaging 5.0ppg, 3.3rpg, and 1.4apg in the Spanish LF Endesa.
She has also been a member of the Montenegrin international program for several years. She has played regularly for the Montenegrin senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2016.
Kovacevic, who also competed for Montenegro at the Games of the Small States of Europe in Malta last year, emerged victorious, securing a gold medal for her team. During the event, she showcased her skills, averaging 5.3 points per game, 2.3 rebounds per game, and shooting an impressive 75.0% from the field and free-throw line.
She has also played professionally in China, Spain (Aviles, Sant Adria, Logrono, and TGN Basquet), and Montenegro (Lovcen).
Her team won the Spanish LF2 Group B Regular Season in 2020, earning her team many awards. In 2016, she was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B Honorable Mention.
