Best players of Montenegrin Prva A round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

Talented Ljube Andric (183-F-2007) put on an amazing game in the last round for ZKK Primorje Herceg Novi and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 16-year old forward had a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds, while her team edged out Trebjesa (#4, 1-4) 67-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Primorje maintains the 3rd position in Montenegrin Prva A. Primorje is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. It's Andric's second year at Primorje and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Andric has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 12.2ppg) and averages solid 2.0bpg,3.2spg and 53.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Andjela Rondovic (2007) of ZKK Trebjesa. Rondovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Trebjesa was edged by slightly higher-ranked Primorje (#3, 2-3) 67-65. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Trebjesa still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Trebjesa managed to get this year. Rondovic is a newcomer at Trebjesa and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#5). She also registered 7.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Primorje's star - international center Teodora Saric (190-C-1998). Saric scored 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was another key player of ZKK Primorje Herceg Novi, helping her team with a 67-65 win against #4 ranked Trebjesa. The chances of Primorje ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Saric could help Primorje to bring them higher in the standings. Saric has a great season in Montenegro. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.0ppg (4th best).
