South Korea eased past Montenegro on their way to the Final in Mexico. They posted an 88-66 win at the 2026 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers and will face Czechia in the Final.
South Korea ended the European streak with a 25-13 run at the start of the game. They erupted with another 27-18 rally in the second quarter, whilst the teams exchanged the narrow wins in the second half.
Sohee Lee (171-F-2000) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Lee-Seul Kang (180-F-1994) notched 20. Marija Lekovic (170-PG-2003) scored 17 points for Montenegro, whilst Maja Bigovic (195-C-2002), Anastasija Drobnjak (181-SG-2002) and Milica Jovanovic (189-F-1989) produced 11 each.
