Belgium recorded the second straight win at the 2025 EuroBasket. The defending champions eased past Montenegro for 2-0 record in Group C. Kyara Linskens (193-C-1996, agency: LBM Management) scored 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for the winners.
Belgium silenced their opponents in the first ten minutes. The reigning champions used a 31-8 rally to clear off. Montenegro managed to narrow the gap by 7 points in the second frame. But Belgium bounced back with a 39-21 rally after the big break to ice a comfortable win. Emma Meesseman (192-C-1993, agency: LBM Management) finished with 15 points, while Nastja Claessens (184-F-2004) had 14 points in the victory. Bojana Kovacevic (191-F/C-1996) answered with 16 points for Montenegro as they slipped at 0-2 record.
