Byrne's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

25-year old American forward Delaynie Byrne (190-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team ZKK Buducnost Bemax Podgorica and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Antivari (#7, 0-3) with 66-point margin 106-40. It allowed Buducnost to take over top position in the Montenegrin Prva A. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Buducnost already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Byrne had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Buducnost's top player in her first season with the team. University of Northern Colorado graduate has very impressive stats this year. Byrne is in league's top in points (2nd best: 27.0ppg), rebounds (5th best: 8.7rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg,2.7spg,92.6% FGP and 46.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Milena Mijuskovic of league's second-best ZKK Trebjesa. She is a in her 3rd season at Trebjesa. In the last game Mijuskovic recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led Trebjesa to another comfortable win outscoring Sea Stars (2-1) 84-56. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Mijuskovic is one of the most experienced players at Trebjesa and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#3). She also registered 13.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Milica Vujacic (179-PF-2002) of Lovcen Cetinje (#8). Vujacic showcased her all-around game by recording 18 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Vujacic's great performance the Lovcen lost 61-70 to Primorje (#5, 1-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Vujacic has individually a great season in Montenegro. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (8th best), rebounds with 11.7rpg (4th best) and assists with 4.3apg (7th best).
