Undefeated Trebjesa (3-1) recorded its first loss in Niksic on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Podgorica (3-1) 61-54. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Trebjesa. Podgorica forced 21 Trebjesa turnovers. The best player for the winners was who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. chipped in 21 points and 4 steals. Podgorica's coach Marko Milosevic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mila Mijuskovic produced 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Podgorica moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Trebjesa. Podgorica is looking forward to face league's second-placed Sea Stars in Tivat in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trebjesa will play on the road against the league's leader Buducnost in Podgorica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buducnost have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-0 record. Newly promoted Lovcen still closes the standings with five games lost. Buducnost will meet at home Trebjesa (#4) in the next round. Lovcen will have a break next round.

Buducnost dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Lovcen's 32. Buducnost forced 41 Lovcen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Lovcen's players. Atina Radevic stepped up and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Jovana Savkovic chipped in 9 points, 9 assists and 5 steals.
