An interesting game for Buducnost (5-0) which hosted in Podgorica 4th ranked Trebjesa (3-2). Top-ranked Buducnost had an easy win 97-44. Buducnost dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Trebjesa's 30. Buducnost forced 34 Trebjesa turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Trebjesa's players. It was a good game for who led her team to a victory with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Delaynie Byrne (190-2000, college: N.Colorado) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Mila Mijuskovic replied with 9 points and 7 rebounds for Trebjesa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Buducnost have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-0 record. Trebjesa at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Podgorica. Buducnost are looking forward to face league's second-placed Sea Stars in Tivat in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trebjesa will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Sea Stars (5-1) which played road game in Podgorica against one of their biggest challengers Podgorica (3-2). Second ranked Sea Stars managed to get a 14-point victory 69-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Podgorica. had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Tania Hill chipped in 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. The best for the losing side was Milena Vujovic with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Sea Stars have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Sea Stars maintains second position with 5-1 record having just one point less than leader Herceg Novi. Podgorica at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Trebjesa. Sea Stars will play against league's leader Buducnost in Podgorica in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Primorje (2-2) 91-43 on Saturday evening. Primorje's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
