Best players of Montenegrin Prva A round 9 (by Hoops Agents)

American Zutorya Cook (170-G) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best ZKK Sea Stars and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The guard had a double-double of 37 points and 10 rebounds, while her team crushed Lovcen (#6, 1-6) with 22-point margin 76-54. Sea Stars maintains the 2nd position in Montenegrin Prva A. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Sea Stars will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Cook had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. She turned to be Sea Stars' top player in her first season with the team. Central Methodist University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cook is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.5ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.0rpg), assists (7th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 5.8spg and 41.9% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Andjela Rondovic (178-F-2007) of ZKK Podgorica. Rondovic impressed basketball fans with 30 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course she led Podgorica to another comfortable win outscoring Antivari (#7, 0-8) 91-46. This victory allowed Podgorica to move up to 3rd position in the standings. Her team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Rondovic is well-known by Podgorica fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Trebjesa's star - Mila Mijuskovic (174-G-2006). Mijuskovic showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, 16 rebounds (!!!) and 8 assists in the last round. She was another key player of ZKK Podgorica, helping her team with a 91-46 easy win against Antivari (#7, 0-8). Podgorica needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Mijuskovic has a great season in Montenegro. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.7rpg (7th best).
