Best players of Norwegian Kvinneligaen round 4

American Maddi Cluse (178-G) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Froya Basket Laksevag and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The guard had the game-high 30 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Froya in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Asker (#4, 2-2) with 28-point margin 94-66. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Froya to consolidate first place in the Norwegian Kvinneligaen. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Froya already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Cluse had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Froya's top player in her first season with the team. Clemson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cluse is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.6ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 10.8rpg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 67.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Norwegian center Tori Halvorsen (183-C-1988) of Ullern IF Oslo. Halvorsen impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Ullern was edged by the higher-ranked Baerum (#2, 3-1) 61-58. This loss caused Ullern to drop to 5th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Halvorsen is one of the most experienced players at Ullern and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Ullern's star - Italian Micol Torresani (160-PG-1998). Torresani scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Torresani's great performance the Ullern IF Oslo lost 58-61 to the higher-ranked Baerum (#2, 3-1). But her team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Ullern ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Torresani could help Ullern to bring them higher in the standings. Torresani has a great season in Norway. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.6ppg (9th best) and assists with 5.6apg (2nd best).
