It was a quality performance for Karol Gruszecki who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Cam Hamilton came up with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for Katowice in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bydgoszcz maintains first place with 25-5 record. Katowice lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. Bydgoszcz will meet Starogard Gd. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Katowice will play against Bialystok (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
