Basquete de Barcelos (Liga Feminina) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old 182cm forward Mariana Pereira for season 2025-26. Pereira has played for the last two years at Sportiva in the Liga Feminina. In 25 games she recorded 4.1ppg and 2.4rpg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Pereira also played 6 games in Eurocup where she averaged just 2.8ppg and 1.8rpg.
She was a member of Portuguese U20 National Team in 2021.
Pereira has played previously for two other teams: CP Natacao and Vitoria SC - Guimaraes.
Her team won Portuguese League Regular Season in 2024.
