Ines Neto came up with 11 points and 5 assists for Galitos in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Q.Lombos have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Loser Galitos keep the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Q.Lombos will meet Barcelos (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Galitos will play against CAB Madeira and hope to secure a win.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 5: Sportiva beat CAB Madeira on the road 66-55. GDESSA won against Coimbroes on its own court 60-59. Esgueira unfortunately lost to Sporting in Lisbon 59-70.
