Clube Desportivo Escola Francisco Franco lands Greeta Uprus, ex TSA Tallinn

Clube Desportivo Escola Francisco Franco (Divisao I) signed 31-year-old Estonian international 177cm swingman Greeta Uprus. She recently played at TSA Tallinn in Estonian NMKL, averaging 4.0ppg, 1.0rpg, and 1.0apg in two games this season. Uprus also has experience playing for Stjarnan in the Icelandic league.
Uprus has been a member of the Estonian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Estonian senior team since 2021 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2013.
Uprus is a very experienced player. She has played in Germany (Marburg), Iceland (IR Reykjavik), Latvia, the United Kingdom (Wolves), and Portugal (Ferragudo).
Uprus and her team won the Estonian NKL Regular Season in 2020. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Latvian-Estonian-Lithuanian League Honorable Mention in 2019.
