SUNY Opens Portugal Tour Against National Runner-Up

SUNY faced a difficult challenge in its first game in Portugal, taking on the Liga national runner-up and gaining valuable experience against one of the country's top clubs. Despite the loss, SUNY competed hard throughout the contest and received several strong individual performances against high-level competition.

Natalie Bartle (175-G/F) led the way with 19 points and 8 rebounds, going a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. Zairea Hannah (183-F) added 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Giavanna Principio-White filled the stat sheet with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 steals. Lidia Boucher also made an impact with 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. While the result didn't go SUNY's way, the team's effort and competitiveness against one of Portugal's elite teams provided a strong foundation for the rest of the tour.

SUNY Rally from Second-Half Deficit to Defeat CPN by Four

SUNY showed tremendous resilience, overcoming a second-half deficit to earn a hard-fought 4-point victory over CPN. Trailing after halftime, SUNY tightened up defensively and made key plays down the stretch, using a balanced offensive attack to complete the comeback and secure the win.

Zairea Hannah led the charge with 13 points and 6 rebounds, while Giavanna Principio-White added 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Kaeli McAnally contributed an all-around effort with 9 points and 6 assists, and Kaileigh Hunt) chipped in 9 points while going 5-for-7 from the free-throw line. Natalie Bartle added 8 points and 7 rebounds, while Harmony Philo (173-G) contributed 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. The team's balanced scoring and determination on the defensive end fueled the comeback and helped SUNY close out an exciting victory.
