Ploiesti wins Romanian title ...again CSU Ploiesto clinched Romanian Championship title after defending in the crucial Game 7 of the Finals U Mobitelco 82-66. They won Final Series 4-3. It was not an easy run as they needed all 7 games to get the title. But it does not change the fact that it is their fifth championship title in a row as they started in 2004 and continue to dominate in Romanian basketball since then. For U Mobitelco it was another unlucky season when they were very close. Two years ago they made it already to the finals and last year they ended the play-offs in the semifinals. CSU was lead by Serbian power forward Bojan Obradovic (206-F/C-77, agency: Beo Basket) (25) and Lithuanian guard Arvydas Cepulis (195-G-79) (23), while the best at U Mobitelco size were Serbian center Zoran Krstanovic (205-C-82) (23) and American guard LeVar Seals (194-G-82, agency: N.E.T., college: De Paul) (11).
