Randolph's 47-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old American guard MJ Randolph (193-G-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for BC CSU Sibiu and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 47 points adding four rebounds and eight assists for Sibiu in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Rapid (#14, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team in overtime 127-123. Sibiu is placed at 5th position in Romanian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Sibiu will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Randolph had a remarkable 61.9% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Sibiu and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Florida A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Randolph is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.3ppg. Randolph is in league's top in and averages solid 4.0spg and 56.5% FGP. Worth to mention Randolph played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Nikola Jevtovic (209-C-1989, agency: 011 Sports) of CS Rapid Bucuresti. He is Serbian center in his 2nd season at Rapid. In the last game Jevtovic recorded an impressive 28 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Rapid was edged in overtime by Sibiu (2-1) 127-123. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Jevtovic is well-known at Rapid and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.7ppg (#7). He also registered 7.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Sibiu's star - forward Fousseyni Traore (198-F-2002). Traore scored 25 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of BC CSU Sibiu, helping his team with a 127-123 overtime win against Rapid (#14, 0-3). Sibiu needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Traore has a great season in Romania. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.3ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 14.7rpg (#1 in league).
