CSM Galati (Liga Nationala) inked 30-year old American 193cm shooting guard Marqueze Coleman (college: Nevada). He was second best scorer at BBC US Heffingen in Luxembourg LBBL last season where in 9 games he averaged impressive 21.9ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.7spg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim (National League) in Israeli league. He also played for Imortal (Liga Betclic) in Portuguese league.
In 2016 he was drafted by Iowa Energy (D-League) in third round (55th overall).
The former University of Nevada standout is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (Ballarat Miners), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), Germany (Titans), Israel, Luxembourg, Portugal (Terceira and Vitoria SC/Costa Guerreiro Lda.) and The Basketball Tournament (Kimchi Express).
Among many awards Coleman's team made it to the Portuguese final in 2022. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Portuguese League All-Imports Team back in 2020. He played also for Buzz Elite for one year.
